Spring has always been my favorite time of year. Spring is the season of rebirth, marked by the blossoming of flowers, warmer weather, and a renewed sense of vitality. This year 2023, has been a little wetter in California than most previous years. As global warming continues to change our weather, it become less predictable. 2023 was bound to be a mega-super-bloom! One of the best places to see this phenomenon is Carrizo Plain National Monument. It’s a protected area in California, known for its vast open grasslands, diverse wildlife, and ancient Native American rock art.
